Samuel Paul Hickok

Samuel Paul Hickok is an educator, composer, and musician in the Philadelphia area. In addition to a Masters Degree in Elementary Education, he has a Masters Degree in Music Composition from Brooklyn College (where he studied with Doug Cohen, Doug Geers, and Jason Eckardt), and a BA from Macalester College (where he studied with Carleton Macy and Cary John Franklin). He grew up playing piano, singing, and playing trombone. Mr. Hickok continues to play Bass Trombone, and conducts occasionally. As an educator, and in research, his primary interests are in the development and application of creativity and lateral thinking.
